Interduct provides an essential service to the UK’s food industry as a leading expert in commercial kitchen duct and vertical riser cleaning.

For Interduct service manager Steve Whiteside, who oversees the fleet, Reflex was the perfect antidote to a previous poor supplier.

He said:

With my old supplier, I was always speaking to someone different and I didn’t get the customer service that I needed. At the back-end, the charges were excessive.

I tested a few vans with Reflex and everything went really well. Within 12 months I had changed the whole fleet to Reflex.

As the fleet tends to operate outside normal business hours, Reflex’s flexible service is relied upon to adapt to fleet and driver needs.

For example, when vehicles require servicing, Reflex mobile technicians work on vans on location, including at home, instead of them being brought into service centres.

This is particularly important for drivers who are working late at night, as they don’t want to spend time during the day driving to a garage and waiting for a service to be completed.

Steve added:

Reflex will deliver a van anywhere and visit to do routine servicing, which is great as it reduces downtime and benefits the drivers.

Steve said:

The customer service I get is fantastic. If there is a problem, then it’s always sorted. It is worth paying a bit more compared to some of the poor service I was getting from other providers, as any savings I made upfront were lost in additional effort dealing with problems and higher recharges. His vehicles have telematics as standard and he reviews tracking reports for signs of any driver issues and can use dashcam footage to prevent spurious claims from third-party drivers by proving, for example, exactly how much damage was involved and how many people were in the vehicle, in case the number increased by the time a claim was made.
