Logistics UK Van Awards

Reflex receives national award for supporting fleets with technology

One of Britain’s biggest business groups has recognised Reflex Vehicle Hire with a unique award for its efforts to ‘use technology for good’

Reflex Vehicle Hire has received a major national award for two key technological innovations that are designed to enhance fleet safety and reduce emissions.

Logistics UK, one of the leading business groups in Britain, presented Reflex Vehicle Hire with the Using Technology for Good Award at its annual van awards.

The award recognises businesses that are using technology to improve the lives of fleet managers, drivers and other road users.

Reflex Vehicle Hire has made two major investments in technology that are supporting the operation of safe and efficient fleets, with major enhancements to the Drive with Reflex modular risk management service, and the launch of EV:IE, the Electric Vehicle Information Exchange.

Both innovations use technology for good, to help reduce risk and emissions.

The Drive with Reflex upgrade transforms on-road risk management, with features including live alerts of hand-held mobile phone use or tired driving.

EV:IE accelerates the fleet EV transition with detailed insight into which of a fleet’s current vehicles could be switched to an EV alternative.

Kevin Green, director at Logistics UK, said:

“To be announced as a Logistics UK Van Awards winner is a tremendous accomplishment. Van operators play a crucial role in the logistics industry and wider UK economy, and Logistics UK is thrilled to recognise and celebrate the dedicated businesses and individuals within this vital sector.

“With the awards celebrating the ‘best of the best’, the standard of entrants is always incredibly high. I congratulate all our winners, and those shortlisted this year.”

Following the win, Reflex Vehicle Hire is now shortlisted for the Van Business of the Year category at Logistics UK’s Logistics Awards 2022, which will take place in London during December.

Logistics UK represents the logistics industry, which directly employs more than 7 million people and is vital to keeping the UK trading. It is the only business group that represents the whole industry, with members from the road, rail, sea, and air industries, as well as buyers of freight services, such as retailers and manufacturers whose businesses depend on the efficient movement of goods.

Lisa Spong, Reflex Vehicle Hire sales director, said:

“We are extremely honoured to be recognised with such a prestigious national award. This reflects the hard work, dedication and professionalism of the entire Reflex team, and our close connection to customers who inspire and guide our product development to ensure our innovations provide the maximum benefit to fleet operators.”
