Clean machines from Reflex Vehicle Hire
As more people return to work, there is growing demand for vehicles that can help keep employees safe, from welfare vans with cleaning facilities to specially adapted minibuses
As the lockdown lifts and the economy restarts, the dangers of Coronavirus remain, so customers are turning to specialist vehicles from Reflex Vehicle Hire to provide safe travel.
Our award-winning fleet covers every business need and that includes specialist welfare units, which are fitted with washing facilities so that employees who are working remotely can wash their hands regularly, which is still one of the most important ways to combat the spread of the virus.
We are also supporting customers who are changing how they transport employees, as we supply an increasing number of minibuses that are designed to support socially-distanced travel.
Instead of minibuses carrying a full complement of passengers, the seating is reduced so that travellers can maintain the correct distance from each other.
Reflex Vehicle Hire provides a wide-array of specialist vehicles, which are available at the click of a button on our newly-launched website.
All our commercial vehicles come with our ‘Safety as Standard’ commitment, as they are fitted with speed limiters and the award-winning modular safety system Driive with Reflex, which offers risk management services including dashcams, telematics and data analysis.
Martin Tyers, Reflex Vehicle Hire Fleet Manager, said:
“We are seeing increasing demand for this type of specialist vehicle as companies adapt their processes to minimise the risk of Coronavirus. We are very responsive to customer demands and so, as requests for these vehicles have increased, we have been able to expand our capacity at short notice to support their businesses. We understand customers are facing a challenging business environment and we will work hard as their fleet partner to provide vehicles that minimise disruption and help them operate safely as the economy recovers.”
Reflex Vehicle Hire can offer ‘clean machines’ in more ways than one as we have introduced hybrid power to our welfare van range.
Our hybrid welfare van is based on the robust Ford Transit 350 L3 H3 Leader, which has an ultra-clean 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine that uses the latest Euro 6 technology. The drivetrain is supported by a 48-volt mild hybrid system to optimise and enhance fuel efficiency.
The EcoBlue Hybrid welfare van is fitted with stop/start technology, so the engine can automatically shut down and restart while stationary or while coasting to a stop. The driver can adjust the coasting speed at which the automatic stop/start system operates up to 12mph.
As with all our products, the hybrid welfare van was developed following ongoing consultation with customers.
