Rory Morris, the used vehicle expert who heads up Reflex Vehicle Sales, has sold his 15,000th vehicle after 15 years in the trade
Reflex Vehicle Sales Remarketing Manager Rory Morris is celebrating a ‘vantastic’ achievement after selling the 15,000th vehicle of his career.
The milestone was reached in the latest vehicle sale organised by the used vehicle arm of Reflex Vehicle Hire.
Rory has more than 15 years’ experience in the motor trade and has been heading up remarketing operations at Reflex Vehicle Sales for the past two years.
Previously he held senior positions throughout the vehicle retail sector, including sales manager leading a nine-strong sales team across new and used cars.
He is also a former Santander Business Manager of the Year.
In his role at Reflex Vehicle Sales, Rory manages the preparation and sale of a wide range of ex-hire stock from Reflex Vehicle Hire direct to the trade.
It offers commercial vehicle brands including Isuzu, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Vauxhall, and Volkswagen. The car range includes Audi, BMW, Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Peugeot, Skoda, Range Rover and Volkswagen.
The landmark 15,000th vehicle sale of Rory’s career was a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 313 CDI medium-wheelbase high roof van.
Each year, Reflex Vehicle Sales provides hundreds of used vehicles to trade customers, who trust Reflex’s reputation for honestly, quality and a partnership approach.
Rory, who has sold an average of 80 new and used vehicles a month throughout his 15-year career, puts his long-term success down to his close relationship with customers.
“It is all about partnerships and personal relationships. I may speak to 30 people on the phone each day, talking about vehicle supply, but also hearing more about their work and lives. It pays to be memorable with customers because they will remember they can ‘just ring Rory’ when they need something.”
He is supported by remarketing sales executive Natalie Ayers, who has been in the role around a year, after moving from another motor trade role. She is helping to expand new business by signing up buyers who want to access ex-hire vehicles from Reflex Vehicle Hire.
The vehicles are popular because they are carefully managed during their working life.
